Try It Tuesday: Super C Smoothie
What A Week!
After one roller-coaster of a week, we're keeping calm, and loading up on some Vitamin C with a tasty smoothie. Oranges, strawberries, bananas, lemon, and a kick of ginger and turmeric round out this "immunity-building" drink. We were lucky enough to get a little fresh air between rainstorms to sip on this lovely smoothie.
Now this smoothie may not fight off COVID-19, but it's always a good idea to nourish your body, especially during these stressful times. So drink up...take care of yourself and one another. Sleep well, eat well, and of course wash those hands!

Super C Smoothie Recipe
- 1 whole orange, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 banana (fresh or frozen)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 cup water
- 1 small slice of ginger (or 1 tsp ground ginger)
- 1/4 tsp turmeric (optional)
Blend until smooth.
**If using fresh fruit, you may wish to substitute some water for a few ice cubes to make this smoothie cooler and more refreshing.
We chose to serve our smoothie in our Italy glass, so we can daydream about the day we can return to traveling the globe, especially to one of our favorite countries. That day will come friends. This too shall pass!
