Our latest #catstudioroadtrip took us to The Golden Isles for The Southern Summit– a three day event for business and creative entrepreneurs to gather, share, and learn in an inspiring and supportive environment. From bloggers and media editors to creative businesses we all gathered at The Cloister  on Sea Island to network and learn. And, what better place to launch our newest design The Golden Isles then at The Southern Summit.
Situated on the coast of Georgia nestled between Savannah and Jacksonville, The Golden Isles is not your typical beach town. Inspired by the hues of the neighboring marshes, you’ll see shades of brown and green scattered throughout the islands. With abundant wildlife and outdoor activities to tree spirits and a sunset bagpiper – there is truly something for everyone.
We fell in love site unseen when creating the art and our visit just confirmed what we already knew. There are so many special places in our country to visit and love. If you ever get a chance for a road trip down the Georgia coast, definitely visit this special little gem.

A big thank you to The Southern C and its attendees for their help in creating this design. And, a special thank you to Two FriendsSea Island Lavin Label and Grace Graffiti for lending a locals’ perspective.

Two Friends of St. Simons Island Launch Party

Our very own Lisa and her dear friend Holly got to go to the Kentucky Derby this year, and we’re a little jealous. Not only did they get to witness the “greatest two minutes in sports,” but they got to take our new custom-designed, officially licensed Kentucky Derby products along for the road trip.

We had so much fun living through them as we followed their #catstudioroadtrip on Instagram. We think they both looked fabulous in their extravagant hats (and we think the mint juleps look extra tasty in those catstudio glasses.

We are so excited about the opportunity to create this custom design for the Kentucky Derby. The products are available to purchase at local retailers + our website and are in limited supply. Whether you were able to celebrate in the stands at Louisville, or were watching it at home in Texas, we hope you had a wonderful Derby Weekend. Happy Trails!

Ginny (Radford Class of 2001) and Rachel (Virginia Tech Class of 2011) loved being back in the beautiful New River Valley for this special event.

The winner of the live auction got her VT pillow signed by Bud! Truly one-of-a-kind.
